I #givethanks today for young people who do all they can to help and serve those around them. In today’s society, it is easy to see only the negative side of youth, but there are so many young people doing all they can to make the world a little better. Remembering that I was once young and believed I had more answers than the older fuddy-duddies in my life helps me give those young people the benefit of the doubt. These young people need encouragement and honest feedback. They won’t always listen, but then, neither did I. But I believe that if we don’t give up on them, they will surprise us all.
